I didn't hear what he said or anything, because I was at the game, but he was sitting right in front of the band on the court for most of the game. Not sure that may have affected what you guys heard.

Danny showed the tendencies of anybody new to TV. He got excited and talked too fast. He'll be better next time. From what I hear, Danny will not be at the 3 games in Ft. Myers.

Adams was just new and nervous to the whole thing last night. The mic was a bit of a joke I agree, he will be much better I would imagine moving forward.

Coach Versace was excellent and is a really strong talent when it comes to commentary.

It really would be best if they could somehow simalcast Snell with CB and Versace.

Honestly Lee Hall is a good play by play talent, and that is considering he isnt real that great. I wonder how good the guy from channel 19, cant recall his name, would be? He seems very informed and probably would be a decent play by play.

I noticed the same about Danny... but I also realize I couldn't do any better without any experience. Danny will watch the "game tape" and make the necessary adjustments.

One of our posters should of pied him in the face, that would of calmed his jitters LOL.

Jim Mattson? Great local guy, except I think his sports loves are #1 local prep sports and #2 Illini. He'd probably be a good sideline guy. Is a sideline reporter allowed to talk to a recruit instead of just a typical fan?

No way would I want Mattson on a BU broadcast... unless the mute button was on.

Mattson does a nice job covering high school sports.

Mattson is probably the hardest-working TV guy in the state when it comes to covering high school sports, but his on-air "schtick" is a bit much for my taste.

Don't all sportscasters have their own unique "schtick"? Jim's just has more of a local-sports slant. I like him.
Has he ever done any play-by-play or color announcing work on basketball? I can't remember him ever doing it, and since he already has a full-time job at WHOI, I don't think he's an option for Comcast.

Gee, all these names being tossed around and critiqued, and I didn't even mention a name, just did my own critiquing.

I imagine Mattson is a hard worker and is good for local sports... I dont follow HS sports unless BU is recruiting someone... My opinion comes from meeting the guy in which I wasnt very impressed!
