Even to have to have this type of discussion is crazy. Sports bars should show sports, so if they think the only game to show is football or the Bears, personally Id never go back to that sports bar. Bradley Basketball is the only game in town and nucklehead managers/owners still think that Bears football is more important.
Anyway, does anyone know if any sports bar does advertising at either the civic center or during BU games. If so, maybe that is the bar to contact, remind them they advertise and their advertising is prompting Bradley fans to want to come to their bar to watch the game.

Excellent idea!
I'm kinda surprised a "viewing party" hasn't been organized by Bradley for this game.

Double A's been a good place in the past (I have heard - and even went for a game once). However, they are limited on number of tv's and they probably cater to their customers who want football and pizza. But they did say if enough are asking for Bradley - they will put 'em on.
BW3's has ALWAYS put Bradley on a tv for me and ALWAYS asked which one.... and the Big Screen has been given before. Now maybe this Sunday, they may not give a big screen - but they just might. It's 50-50. Thing is - they have SO MANY tv's. They can keep most happy all the time. Thing to consider with the tv's this Sunday with the NFL is QB1 (by NTN). BW3's will try to show many QB1's (since they fork out some big cabbage to have NTN) and also the football game coinciding with QB1.
I really believe Bradley will be played on a Big Screen at BW3's at GP on like the W screen and also on one of the 3 or 4 Hi-Def's behind the bar (plus a few smaller tv's).
Fans should go - get a 22 ouncer, order 6 each of Hot, Spicy Garlic, and Sweet BBQ (need those to kill the fire from the Hot)... chill out and have a good time.
Well at least it starts at a somewhat decent time for you guys. It's a 10 AM start time for me and I promised my girlfriend that I would attend this church event Sunday morning. I know what you guys are thinking and I tried, there's no way out unless I want to pay for it all week. At least I'll be praying for our boys.
I wouldn't be quite as harsh on Comcast, since I go back to the early days of cable TV here in the Peoria area when we had very few options. I wish we could get ESPNU, but other than that, I really like the options Comcast gives. And the TV deal with Bradley is fantastic.
Realize that if Comcast didn't do the BU games, we would probably only get the ISU game and a couple others a year.

I'm all for this! Anyone willing and able should obviously wear RED and get there early enough to let them know what we want!

Keep in mind that watching the Bradley game just might not turn out to be such a great experience tomorrow. Sometimes group gatherings to watch a game where your team could be drubbed can be real downers.

I called Double A Pizza today and they said they would have the Bradley game on as well if anyone is looking for a smaller gathering. I'll probably be there with my parents and my oldest son.

I'm in the dog house as we speak so I'll just have to grin and bare it. I promised that I'd go without really thinking about the game. I just thought the game would be on later after the football games.
Trust me if I can get away with it I'll come up with something. What I'm trying to do is take her out to dinner feed her a few to many and see if she can wake up on time. If not I'm home free!
Ok SFP.... You are already in the dog house so what do you have to loose? You might as well go all the way and watch the game.
Just a little "helpful" advice.
