  • Rivals Top Dogs: Best at Each position

Rivals.com recruiting analysts pick the best prospect at each position headed to each conference.

    Missouri Valley
Top Player: Kenny ManigaultPoint guard: Kenny Manigault, Wichita State
Shooting guard: Justin Clark, Illinois State
    Small forward: Ben Simons, Drake
Power forward: John Ekey, Illinois State
    Center: None.
Interesting that Rivals doesn't believe any MVC school has a noteworthy Center coming in.

That list is garbage. Eckey is not one of the top recruits in this league.

Haha, what? You don't think Eckey is better at the 4 than Jordan Prosser? Let them rank them like that... I'll take JP ANYDAY

Best recruits in the conference + worst scheduling in the conference = BCS offers for the head coach
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

OK Recruits (Even a nontraditional 1 and done gun for hire) + worst scheduling in the conference + working with old coaches players + picking a down time in the Valley = BCS offers for head coach

Your equation was a little off Shanguth...

I really hate petty arguments like this. Sorry, but at this point, BU is not a "destination" for most college coaches.

It was nothing you said that was wrong, but the topic of this thread is the Rivals rankings of players, and somehow the subject turned into taking shots at the coach. That's what was deleted. Please keep on topic.

Sorry. We were just having some fun. Nothing too evil spirited. Just some playful barbs.

Well, the article states who the best recruits are at each position.....I would hate to argue with that! Suffice it to say, isu is in much better shape than the rest of the conference, especially when you factor in their quality schedule.
