  • Comcast Announces Bradley Talent, Special Preview Show

PEORIA, Ill. -- Comcast has assembled an all-star talent team for its 12 Bradley Basketball telecasts during the 2008-09 season and the cable provider will air a special edition of The Jim Les Show Thursday night.? For the second year in a row, Bradley Athletics Hall-of-Famer Frank Bussone will provide the play-by-play call, while former Bradley coach Dick Versace will serve as the color analyst for all 12 games.? In addition, recent player Danny Adams will serve as a sideline reporter for many of the broadcasts.

The hour-long season-preview show on Thursday looks to be very interesting! 7:00pm Channel 74

Don't forget about "Meet The Braves" on WEEK tonight from 6:30pm-7:00pm.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

What a great broadcast team! Great to see Dick Versace joining Frank Bussone behind the mikes, and Danny Adams joining them for some games.

Also note that the TV cable-casts this season will be on channel 74 in Peoria and most surrounding areas. Last year they were carried over channel 44.

Here is the answer from Bradley--

No, as of now, there are no plans for Comcast to cable-cast the Bradley games on any of their Chicago area systems.

Friday's game against UIC will be broadcast in the Chicago area by Lakeshore Public Television. It's channel 56 broadcast from Northwest Indiana, and it appears on some cable systems as well. If you live in the Chicago area, check with your cable company to see if you can get this network.

I think it is available on BUBraves.tv .
Go here, and then click on the link for Live Events in the upper right--
Page Not Found (404): It looks like you're lost... The page you are looking for no longer exists.

It shows both an audio and video link (they are not active now, but will be at game time) for the game Friday with UIC. I believe all home games are available on BUBraves.tv.

I definitely enjoy watching games on bubraves.tv since I'm unable to attend in person. The great thing about it is that you also get to watch some of the past season games. I think the earliest they have is the 2005-2006 season. Depressed about a recent loss? I usually watch a game where I know we destroy the opponent.

I have heard that there have been imoprovements, and the quality should be better than last year.

Glad to here there have been upgrades. I got a little worried after watching the post game press conference the other day, as the picture kept freezing up on me. I'm hoping the UIC game works a lot better.
