My guess he will not play untill he is in complete game shape. Basketball shape is so different then just being able to run all day. I'm sure the staff does not want to risk it for one and second they know what they have with him and now they can test the newbies.

Great news! I see no reason for him to play Monday. We all know what AW brings to the table, so let's get the new guys some action and not risk anything with AW.???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Like the article states; A.Warren already knows the system Bradley runs there is no reason for him to take any chances of re-injury, this will give us a better chance to see more of the new guys and which one of them is ready to contribute now, look at how much Ruffins missed games last season gave Sam M. more time on the floor to prove that he was ready to contribute as a freshman last year.

Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.

AW needs to be 100% by the Florida game period. Rushing him any sooner would be a huge mistake. I really like the way our staff takes care of our players. I have yet seen us do anything that has been even the slightest bit questionable when it comes to the physical welfare of our players."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

Losing at home to UIC would be a huge hit to any at-large hopes...
Losing on the road to Florida, which is pretty likely to happen with or without AW (being realistic), won't show up as a black mark on our resume by year end.
So, from my perspective, if AW isn't ready to contribute against UIC, then the best course of action, in the big picture, would be to sit him for the Florida game to give him an extra 10 days to get ready for the UMKC game.
While it would be great to throw everything we have at trying to win one of the non-con games that we aren't expected to win (FLA)...I think it is far more important to our post-season hopes if we can avoid a home loss in a game that we aren't expected to lose (UIC).
