Notre Dame High School will be honoring 20 of their distinguished alumni Oct. 26 with the second annual Hall of Honor Awards to be held at the school, 7655 W. Dempster St., Niles.
Alumni being honored include John Egart '68, Co-Designer of the inline skate; Brian McCaskey '78, senior director of business development for the Chicago Bears; and James Les '81, head basketball coach at Bradley University and a former NBA player.
The event is open to the public and between 400 and 500 people are expected to attend.
The Notre Dame High School Hall of Honor Awards were established in 2007 to recognize Alumni who have exhibited outstanding achievement in faith, scholarship and service since their graduation from NDHS. These three areas are the hallmarks of a Notre Dame High School education.
Inductees are from the classes of 1958 to 1981.
