Bradley adds sports communications major

I read this online 3 days ago, but see it hasn't gotten much mention on the board:

I think this is a great move by the university ... and long overdue as this topic has been discussed for a couple of years on this board. We had compiled a list of Bradley attendees / alums who had successful sports journalism (especially radio and TV) and the list was, and still is, very impressive.

A "tip o' the cap" to President Glasser for getting this done.

Something like this makes me feel like I came to Bradley too soon. This sounds like a fantastic major and a really great step for BU because there are a lot of students who want to go into the sports field after they graduate with their communications major.

I feel the same way. I am still thinking about switching majors.

i agree, this sounds like a great idea, and something i would have definitely majored in had i had the chance. i was just 5 years too early i guess.
