  • School district re-opens investigation into Arthur's high school grades

This could get sticky for Kansas. It is still not over!

The Dallas Independent School District has reopened an investigation into alleged improper grade changes for former star basketball player Darrell Arthur at South Oak Cliff High School, WFAA, the ABC affiliate in Dallas reported.

Fingers will point everywhere, not one person, especially at Kansas will take any respondsibilty, the NCAA will determine that Kansas is not respondsibly for the transcripts given to them by the High School, so they will be in the clear.

What will probably happen is the person who changed the grades will be repromanded by the State of Texas and everyone moves on. Kansas, just like Indiana, and USC will see nothing in terms of penalties from the NCAA.

But I am curious if there is any presidence regarding false transcripts and Universities admitting non qualified students to play athletics. I am betting its happened before with some sort of penalty.
