According to Iowa Barnstormers coach Jamie Johnson, Matt Morrison, of Solon (Iowa) High, has given a verbal commitment to Northern Iowa. Morrison, an All-State point guard, averaged just over 16 points and nearly five assists a game during his junior season. He also had interest from Evansville, Missouri State, North Dakota, Northern Arizona, and a preferred walk-on spot at Iowa State.
