Pacers trying to trade and get the top pick?

Here is a discussion suggesting the Pacers are trying to deal and get the top pick and select Adam Morrison.
This is significant because it might have an effect on Danny Granger.
The Pacers already have SF's Danny Granger and Peja Stojakovoc, so would one of them be included in the deal which might also include Jermaine O'Neal?

It is strongly felt that they would NOT use their #1 overall pick on O'Bryant, so if they even have any desire to have Patrick come in for a private workout, it must be because they are contemplating trading and ending up with a different pick, one that Patrick might be relevent for.
This fits with the rumors.
