  • Next public BU basketball event--Braves Club fundraiser at Itoo Hall Oct. 14

The next public Bradley basketball event is October 14, when the Bradley Braves Club sponsors the annual (except for last year) Itoo Hall Spaghetti Supper fundraiser on October 14.
Page Not Found (404): It looks like you're lost... The page you are looking for no longer exists.

Keep your calendars clear and try to attend this event. I have been to every one of the past Spaghetti Suppers at the Itoo Hall, and they always have great food (usually chicken as well as spaghetti) and a great time.
There is an entry fee ($12.00 for adults, $5.00 for children, and $30.00 for families of 2 adults and up to 4 children) but that includes all you can eat, and drink (beer and soda). There are usually Bradley items for sale and auction, and the men's and women's teams will be introduced and available to meet the fans and give autographs for the kids.

The event starts at 5:00 pm, dinner starts serving at 5:30 pm, and the teams will be introduced at 7:00 pm.
I'll post more information when it becomes available. Remember, there will not be a Red-White scrimmage event this year because of the demolition of the Fieldhouse, so this may be the only chance for many fans to see and meet the team before the season.

Practice starts Friday, October 17, and the first scrimmage game is barely a month away (Nov. 3 against Lewis)--

DON'T mean to steal the thread Mike and thanks for reminding us about the ITOO.....but I wanted to also tell about another annual event thats MUCH harder to get tickets for. In fact the annual LARIAT SMOKER is sold out and you must know someone that has a ticket.

I just happen to be lucky enough to be holding a table of 10 and just might have an extra to anyone that wants to attend.

Its Thursday Oct. 16th 2 days after ITOO. Coaches JL and BW will be in attendance with hor devours, beer and......CIGARS????????? Still wondering about the smoking situation but we'll see

Anyway PM me if you are interested. Tickets are $50.00 and aren't available at the door.

I was unfortunately not able to attend, but here are some tidbits from someone who did attend (DC and T I am sure will elaborate more) -

                  1. Andrew Warren was not on crutches and did not have a limp
                  2. Coach Les said this is the fastest team he has ever had at BU
                  3. Anthony Thompson has put on 40 lbs.
                  4. Chris Roberts looked to be close to 6'5"
                  5. Will Egolf looked like he has matured into a college kid as opposed to the younger-looking HS kid of last year
                  6. Sam Singh looks like he's in great shape

I'll leave the other stuff for DC and T. Can't wait for the season to start!
                  Onward and Upward!

All of these things will be evident in the video clips when we get them posted. Here is a picture of Sam with the mother of a Bradley superhero--
