  • New Season

    Hi BU Fans;

    Is everyone getting ready for the start of a new and what appears to be a great year for the BU Braves? Just a lil update on AW. He is doing great! I think if it were not against Dr's orders he would be in the gym working out now!

    Looking forward to the season!

    Hello Naptown! I hope you had a nice summer. Thank you for your updates on AW. I believe he should have a great year along with TW. I can see them scoring consistantly ~35 points between the two of them. Any news from AW on how he feels the new guys are fitting in? I'm looking forward to this year also! Welcome back to the board.

      Great news Naptown. AW looks like he's beefed up quite a bit. He was already hard to guard last year, I honestly think that that smaller guards that tend to populate the MVC are literally going to bounce off of him this year. I really think he's going to be nearly unguardable. Looking forward to a HUGE season from AW. Get healthy!

        Good to see you back on the board Naptown. I expect big things from AW this year along with the rest of the Braves. I know most are picking BU for around 4th or 5th in the MVC but I think with AW, SM, TW, AT, DD and the rest we can win the MVC this year. I would have the same question that was asked earlier, any news on the bigs and how they are coming along?

        Best wishes to a great Bradley player AW and good to hear he is doing well.

          I had a chance to talk to Andrew at the Tailgate party. I could tell he wanted to get rid of the crutches, but he was following Dr.'s orders. He did tell me he thought Bradley could win the MVC and he could lead the MVC in scoring this year. I like that kind of positive thinking.

            Positive thinking is the first step, and it appears our team has their head on straight. I am excited!

                I'm definitely very excited for this season. I live in Florida, so I'm going to have much more opportunities to see BU play live this year.

                Last year, the only chance I got was to travel to St. Louis and see us lose in the 1st round to Creighton.

                  I am ready for the start of practice and the games to begin as this years team should be fun to watch. Let"s stay injury free and win the Valley championship plus the tour. title.
