Keith Pickens is a class of 2009, 6'4" shooting guard from Oakville, Missouri, near St. Louis. There is not much information available about him, as he seems to be a little "under the radar".

He is rated 1-star by Scout--

And he is not listed anywhere in the Rivals database.

He also had interest from Evansville, Illinois State, and Eastern Kentucky.

Here are a couple links with more information about Pickens--

Judging by the videos this kid appears to be VERY athletic with Boogie-like hops. What we don't see is his ability (or lack of) to handle the ball, shoot the outside shot, and play defense.

My guess would be that that is why no "major" schools were in on this kid. This is a typical MVC/mid-major type recruit that could potentially develop into a major talent by his junior year (once he develops theose other skills). This appears to be a really good pick up for MSU.
