There were a couple of UW-Milwaukee fans that wrote on this board before and after the game. They were good posters. One even offered to buy anybody going to the return game in Milwaukee a beer.

There's also the gameday bus from Peoria to Milwaukee:

They were great guys. I spoke with a couple of them at the game and we even took some pix with 'em. Hopefully we'll see them this year in Milwaukee.

Just another person who wonders what the BU deal is for this one. I'm obviously out of town in Chicago, so I don't need the bus ride. Is BU selling the tickets on their own? I know I'm in the vast minority, but there are other up here who A. want to go B. don't need the bus and C. want to sit with BU fans.

Any advice for us Chicago BU fans would be helpful!

Anyone else doing this? Sounds good. I'm not an Alumni, and neither is my friend going with me, so I don't know if I'm eligible for the Tickets/Party for $15.00. Anyone in the Alumni Association know?

I think it's intended for alumni, but I have been to many alumni events, and many people who go are not alumni. I have never seen anyone at the events asked for ID, or year of graduation to verify, so I think you're OK to go for it.

I just made a reservation at the Hyatt through the number above, and got the $89 rate (and it's cancellable). Their regular rack rate was $109. I was not asked for any verification that I was an alumnus.

Thanks DC. I'm gonna call here when I get a chance. I'm definitely going to the game, just trying to hang/sit with as many BU people as possible.

Anybody get tickets yet? If so, where, and where is everyone sitting?

Just reserved tickets through the office, was asked for my class year. My guest is not an alumnus, which they asked about, but it didn't seem to be a problem.

                        DC,

I made reservations a while back so I called them to get the BU discounted rate. After about 20 minutes on hold they could not find the BU special. I am still at $109. Does anyone have a discount code number?
                        Thanks

Tickets are a different story. They get a limited number of tickets, and do try to see that they go to alumni and their guests. But there are still good tickets available through Ticketmaster. That's how I got mine.

It took them a while to find the rate for me also, but she did find it. Looking at the confirmation e-mail this could be the code-- BRADLEY CORP TVL

It took a while for the reservation agent to find the $89 rate for me, too.

My confirmation email also says the code is BRADLEY CORP TVL--

They found the Bradley discount right away this morning. The $89 is for Saturday only if you plan on going early or staying late.

                                Thanks for the tip.
