As it turned out the centers & 7-footers went high in the draft:
1-Bargnani
2-Aldridge
5-Shelden williams
9-O'Bryant
10-Sene
12- Hilton Armstrong
15-Cedric Simmons
18-Oleksiy Pecherov
and guys who were actually rated below Gray went as high as:
-Quincy Douby 19th (1st round)
-Shannon Brown 25th (1st round)
-PJ Tucker 35th (2nd round)
-Guillermo Diaz 52nd (2nd round
-Will Blalock 60th (2nd round)
So in retrospect, some are saying Gray might have gotten picked in this center-starved draft as high as the 20's and probably no lower than mid-2nd round.
Did he make a mistake?
Would his decision have been dramatically different had it not been for ONE embarrassing game in March?
Only time will tell....

I just thought others might enjoy this as much as I did.
Pitt's Aaron Gray says in an interview:
"I'm still confident that I'm a better player than [O'Bryant]."
