No disrespect egib, since I know it's not your list, but the Bulls are very well set at SG and are not very likely to take an unknown Swiss player like Sefolosha.

I totally agree...I was just posting what was asked for...I would assume that they will still look for a big or atleast get a more athletic big SG if they take one.

I see that my site has O'Bryant going higher than about anyone else does at this point. I've got to say that I really like O'Bryant and think he can be a very good big man if he's in the right situation. The Celtics seem like a perfect fit for him, but I'm afraid that might not happen due to the recent developments in this draft with Shelden Williams possibly sneaking into the top 10. I think a perfect spot for POB though, would have to be #10, going to Seattle. He could practically start from day one, and hopefully become a force in the Western Conference before long.

Our newest mock should reflect this, as the one you guys have is dated back to June 2nd.

NBA Draft World, thanks for your input on our humble BradleyFans board.

Like most college basketball fans we thrive on the draft news that involves our own players (in this case Patrick O'Bryant).

The experience with Danny Granger last year shows that sometimes a prospect can drop unexpectedly and go a full 10 slots lower than expected. But most BU fans are pretty confident that Patrick will be in the top 10-12.



What do you make of talk that Aldridge has problems with his back and that some teams will stay away from him.
NBAdraft,net now has dropped Aldridge all the way to #7!
Could POB actually sneak in front of Lamarcus?

There is a report in the Portland press that Tyrus Thomas cancelled his workout with the Portland Blazers (#4 pick) and it is because he has received full assurance he will be picked by someone ahead of that position.

I see you have Patrick O'Bryant #2 behind Lamarcus Aldridge. Some sites categorize Aldridge as a power forward in the NBA. Since your site rates college, high school, and international players sepatately, where does Saer Sene rate, compared to O'Bryant and Aldridge?

Like you expect, it would be very rare for POB to drop out of the top 15, and even if something like that were to happen, the Hornets who have the 12th and 15th picks, would most likely use their first pick to get POB in fear of him being off the board when they pick again at 15. So the worst case scenario in my opinion is that POB goes #15 to the Hornets, but somewhere from pick 9-12 seems more realistic. As far as Aldridge, I'm sure that some teams are questioning his back, and as we've seen with Tracy McGrady recently, chronic back injuries are no joke, especially in a big man. All in all though I think Aldridge has too much raw potential to drop out of the top 8 or so picks, he probably wouldn't slip past POB, but anything can happen.

The guarantee that you are referring to is Thomas claiming that the Bulls have already told him that if he is there at #2, they will select him. Unfortunately, we don't know the validity of these rumors until it actually happens though, and like what we saw with the NFL Draft this year and how Reggie Bush was a Texan until the night before the draft, things change in an instant, and Tyrus could end up slipping by not working out for teams like Portland.

I have the rankings set up so I can just put players in certain categories. A lot of times there are guys that fit into more than one position, much like Adridge being a PF/C, but I mainly placed him into the center category because of his size and because he has the ability to play center in the league. Saer Sene is a great prospect, and although I don't have overall draft rankings up on the site (those should be up by this friday by the way), I would rank Sene right behind Bryant as my #3 center in the draft. It is pretty close though, and I have seen many recent mocks with Sene going in the top 10, which is something that would clearly drop POB a little bit. As is the case with international players every single draft, we don't start to project them as high as they usually go until around the week or so before the draft, when all of their numbers are coming in compared to the college guys. I have Sene as a Top 15-18 player right now, but there really aren't too many guys in this draft with more raw potential.
