Crucial date in college recruiting

Up until now, all players from the high school class of 2008 could not be contacted by D-I college coaches.
On June 15 after their sophomore year, then the college coaches can begin direct contact with the recruits utilizing any recruiting materials and they can phone them once per month after that date. Gentlemen, start your engines....
