I thought Austin could be nice role player next year. It looks like some of the younger players are going to have to step up.

Best of luck to Rashad. Sometimes things work out for the best for everyone involved.

The minutes are there for someone like Will Egolf if he can step up. imo

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I agree with some others.. If he didn't feel comfortable- its better to let him go be happy. As for the scholie- use it only if it helps out- don't just "get a warm body"

            Good luck RA!
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

I still see a reason for concern, or at least an opportunity for improvement, because it means that the coaching staff "missed" on some aspect of the recruiting process (Of course no D1 program is flawless in that regard as no one has a crystal ball)

It may be that RA was brought in mostly for last year. (We run a system where the 4 cannot be a traditional power forward, but must be a 3-point shooting guy with ball-handling skills, and RA is really not a D1 5) RA did an outstanding job last year being a backup center that allowed AT to redshirt. In the long run, RA's presence last year should pay large rewards.

Q&B 74 , I hope Brandon is listening or reading these. What a great addition he would be.Good luck RA I think BU12 will be back in this country FRi. maybe he can get BM to commit by taking him to the big town of Elmwood and golf. On second thought thats probably a rules violation.

Haven't been on in a few days, and of course I miss the eventful ones of the summer!

Anyways, I had not heard any of these rumors about Rashad. Hopefully, that means that the coaches never dropped off of McGee with the Brown signing and stayed on him hard. If Les shows him the talent he will be playing with here, he should get very excited about the possibilities. Go get 'em!

Anyone know if/when a visit is scheduled for him?

If he has not been here this summer then it is a good thing for both him and BU to part their separate ways as I feel very strongly about how much better a player gets depends on how hard he is willing to work in the summer and you need to be with your teamates during the summer as it helps with you understanding one another on and off the court. J.Crouch is a perfect example of how much a player can improve during the summer if he is willing to put in the time and hard work.
