A New York newspaper is reporting that the LA Clippers are talking to the Knicks about acquiring the massively bloated contract of Zach Randolph (3 more years for $48 million). The Knicks are reported to want Eric Gordon in the deal. I can't believe the Clippers would consider this deal, but then the Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves were fleeced by the Lakers and Celtics last year.

This shouldn't be a surprise. We're talking about the Clippers here.............they're known for this kind of stupidity. Just look how they botched the Elton Brand deal (among many, many, many others).

B4L I have to disagree with this one. The Clips need a big more then EG at this point. If the Clips can get somthing else to lower the overall price then I'd do it. I'm sure the Clips will get the Knicks next 10 1st round picks w/out protection, and then the option to swap any pick they get in the 20 years following....wait Isaih is gone now isn't he...the Clips are out of luck
