  • Soccer Schedule

I know this isn't basketball but I figured enough people would be interested to put it here, and it's kind of a slow day.

The soccer schedule came out a few days ago and if most people are like me and check bradleyfans.com rather than bubraves.com for bradley sporting news then it should be posted here.

PEORIA, Ill. -- After winning a school-record 16 games against one of the toughest schedules in program history and advancing to the quarterfinals of the 2007 NCAA Men's Soccer Championship, 13th-year head coach Jim DeRose has announced the 2008 Bradley soccer schedule. Visits from perennial West Coast power Cal State Fullerton (Sept. 27) and Missouri Valley Conference rival Creighton (Oct. 18) highlight Bradley's nine-game home schedule at Shea Stadium.

The exhibition game vs. SIUE interests me a lot since I practically live in Edwardsville and they are newly instated D-I school. I know and play soccer with a lot of those guys and they are a consistently good team..I'll be looking forward to that.

Thanks for posting that. I was going to post it since among basketball fans there is great interest in soccer.

I like seeing Xavier on the schedule.

I see the soccer team has a non-con game as late as Nov 8th. And the hoops team can start sometime around then... so maybe, in the future we could see a double header: Bradley Soccer at/vs Xavier Soccer followed by Bradley Basketball at/vs Xavier.

Put together attractive bus groups to travel (only like 5-6 hours to Cincy) on a Saturday morning, watch soccer match early afternoon, couple hour break for dinner at a Buffet joint, then 7pm hoops tip off (which Cincy is in Eastern Time Zone) and then back home in time to catch a couple victory pints downtown.

I looked on the Bookstore web site today to see if they have the Bradley soccer T's that the team was seen wearing on the recent ESPN airing. Anyone know where I can buy one online?

My daughter is playing club soccer for a Dallas club. Her coach is Tatu for those who may have followed indoor soccer. I figure I might as well wear Bradley soccer apparel to her tournaments.
