The NCAA should have also widen the lanes like they have in international rules. I believe the moving the 3 pt shot back without lane changes will benefit teams with bigs."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

I doubt shooting percentages will drop as significantly as that article indicates. Sure, for big men who might take the occasional 3 pointer (or desperation 3 pointer), their shooting % will drop more. But for most guards who are used to perimeter, shooting I don't think the drop will be that much.
Also, I don't think this will hinder double-digit come-backs much either. The 3 pointer as a weapon definitely helps you get back in the game. However, I also believe most come-backs occur because college players are more susceptible to momentum shifts and the home crowd advantage/disadvantage.
The reverse could also be said about double-digit come-backs. That is, preventing them would be much harder with the 3 point line pushed back. How many times have we seen teams rally only to have the other team knock-down a few 3 pointers to erase all that hard work.
