Purdue is looking for an opponent for its re-dedication game for renovated Mackey Arena in 2011.

The Boilermakers were Bradley's first opponent in the Fieldhouse and 2011-12 would be the 30th anniversary of the 1982 NIT.

I would like to see this happen as well. A Bradleyfans road trip in the making....
    Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

      Pur-Who?

      Just kidding.

Sounds like a good idea to me, too, Squirrel. You need to send your idea to the AD's of Purdue and Bradley.

Man would I love to see this happen. I like Mackey Arena and have been to meny games there. Not a bad seat in the house. The fans really get in to it before the game. Also my daughter and her husband are Purdue grad's and live in Lafayette. She works and teachs at Purdue. Would take my grand childern there for that one, as I do the Bradley games when they come home and theres a home game.
Lets do it Jimmy! I would love to see BU win over the Boilers! Plus beat Michigan State at home to.
There is no team in the the MVC that can match up to us the whole game, if our bigs come to play! BU will win the the MVC this year!

If we want our record against the Big 10 to be like ours is against the Big East, we have to get started somewhere
          Return to Glory

This is only good if they return to play in Peoria.

I have my sign ready for the game. --Just need to take out the "IU" and replace that with BU.

An email has been sent to both AD Burke and the Purdue hoops secretary. I received an "Out of Office" reply from the AD--he's on vacation for the next couple weeks.

I did receive an actual reply from the AD thanking me for the information and would be noted for consideration.

Wouldn't hold my breath, but who knows. It's worth a shot.
