PEORIA, Ill. – Commemorating the 2007-08 year in Bradley Athletics will be the theme when the athletic department launches its second online auction Tuesday at www.BradleyBraves.com. Including game-worn jerseys, framed photos, unique memorabilia and authentic equipment, the auction will run for two weeks, ending at midnight July 13.
The July auction follows the athletic department’s first-ever online auction in May, which generated more than $3,000 for the Danny Dahlquist Memorial Fund through the sale of game-worn jerseys from the historic 2007 Bradley Soccer season. Proceeds from this month’s auction will benefit Bradley Athletics.
Among the items in the latest auction: the courtside banner from the inaugural College Basketball Invitational; framed photos commemorating Bradley Basketball’s record crowds and the Bradley Soccer team’s NCAA Tournament Elite Eight run; baseball, women’s basketball and volleyball game-worn jerseys; authentic apparel worn by the tennis, cross country and track teams; and equipment used by the golf, softball and tennis squads.
