OLD TOPIC-- Don't Reply --One Last Long Range Pick-Em
AS you can see Romar I agree about JJ Many gave up on him and I held on a really believed he would break out last year. It took awhile but he did.
JJ did EXACTLY what the coaches wanted him to do last year(defense and pass) and now with so many scorers gone I hope they tell him to SCORE.
The kid was a scorer in HS and I think he can do it again. Somewhat like J. Robinson did his Senior year. While I still want him to find Andrews, Salley down low I could see JJ being an effective if not big scorer from the 2-3 spot.
JJ has the potential to be a 10-14 ppg player next year IMO.
I agree with you guys. I KNOW JJ is gonna have a solid year (barring injury). Great kid. Great work ethic. Got game. This is HIS year.
I think he is gonna trade some nights with Franklin for the scoring load as our leading men.
JJ - you reading this board... you know who I am... I grabbed you in the airport hanger and yelled 'you are the man', and we chuckled about it at the banquet. GO GET 'EM NEXT YEAR!!!
Ooooops, sorry, not one guess had the correct starting lineup in this LONG RANGE Pickem,
as Will Franklin, JJ Tauai, Daniel Ruffin, Jeremy Crouch, and Zach Andrews statred in a four-guard lineup that nobody saw coming.

Oh well....we'll keep doing more pickems!!
I like the lineup.....like Salley off the bench. We controlled the game with our quickness. Great job by JL and staff.....
