I remember Bradley announcing a Spring Schedule for the soccer team. Scrimmages I guess, but against some decent squads from other schools. Does anyone know how our kids looked? I'm looking forward to Fall to follow the soccer team! Summer is over-rated.
I attended the only home game of the spring slate and the team looked pretty good beating Drake 2-1. I'm not sure of the result for any of the other scrimmages. It's tough to get an accurate read from spring games, since all the teams are playing without their outgoing seniors and their incoming freshman and the games aren't nearly as intense. I liked what I saw at the Drake game though. DeRose tried a bunch of players out of position to see how they did and for the most part they all responded pretty well. It'll be interesting to see how the new guys fit in, especially considering some of these kids are pretty highly touted recruits. Should be another good season.
