Weren't we in the NIT that year? I highly doubt we would have turned down an NIT invite for the CBI, but you never know.

Here's a funny thing............I just read an article about the coaching changes at Indiana...........

Name all the NCAA D-I schools who have FIRED their head coach MORE than TWICE since the beginning of this decade?
(this doesn't count when a coach leaves on his own, retires, or moves up the ladder)

I am unaware of anyone other than Indiana with the duboius distinction of having FIRED three different head coaches this decade.
And only one of those coaches left with some talent in the bank, and didn't leave behind the legacy of lawsuits, NCAA penalties, and investigations.
"Maybe now Indiana University basketball fans will let Mike Davis go"

I am curious why the higher-ups and people in charge of all this haven't been canned as well??

You need to add one more post-season win to SIU over last three years, they beat Ok. State in NIT this year.
