I know it is an old story, but there are those who still claim New Mexico did nothing wrong when Danny Granger transferred there,
although the smart money knows he was tampered with and lured there via conversations with his
former assistant coach Duane Broussard. Now the Albuquerque Journal
has an interview with Broussard in which it says that Broussard is responsible for bringing Danny Granger to New Mexico.
So, since Granger was a scholarship player, and was never released by Bradley, and Broussard would not have been legally able to "recruit" him (which he also vigorously denied doing), how does he now get credit for "bringing" him to New Mexico?
