  • USC Has Solved the OJ Mayo Illegal Benefits Scandal

Or does anyone else think that this is just a charade, and this only action of banning the guy with the cash from buying tickets is only a tiny part of what they should h ave done long, long ago, and it is far too little too late.
USC is planning to tell the NCAA it did not know of any improper activity between O.J. Mayo and an event promoter alleged to have given the basketball player $30,000 in cash and gifts, according to a Los Angeles Daily News report.

By the way, what would keep the guy/agent from just buying the tickets on his own, anonymously or from a scalper?
Nothing, of course, so this move is worthless.

By the way....I buy this stuff from USC and from OJ Mayo, about as much as I buy this guy's story that he is still an amateur football player...

(ps-- that's at least $10,000 that guy is holding in fresh 20's)

Aha....some fallout from the OJ Mayo scandal....
USC's top recruit from the Class of 2009, Malik Story has suddenly and unexpectedly de-committed, causing some to suspect he doesn't want to wait on all the investigations and then de-commit later and miss the recruiting process.
