Sign that Mid-majors Don't Pay Their Players

We have seen in the prior threads about UCS (OJ Mayo & Reggie Bush), Memphis (players getting money given to them by agents), Oklahoma (the footballers getting paid for not working), and Duke (players driving Beamers) that there is evidence that some schools find a way to pay their players.

Here is proof the mid-majors don't pay their players.
If they did, why would a mid-major kid have to resort to this, robbery?

Then they are the exception to the rule as the only mid-major that does pay and that's why they get top players.
