One of the very top prep players in Illinois a couple years ago was DeAndre Liggins, who was a 5-STAR recruit, he verballed to Kentucky, then went to Findlay Prep in Las Vegas, NV.
Now after his final year of high school, it is being announced that he still hasn't been able to qualify.
He may end up going the juco route, stay an extra year at prep school, or try to get someone with pull to get the NCAA to "accept" his scores.
Liggins is a very talented "Scottie Pippen type point forward" who was 5-Star until just recently when both Rivals and scout updated their rankings.
Now, maybe they knew this issue of qualifying would come up, as they have both dropped Liggins to 4-Star.
