Well, the author of this article lays it out about as plainly as possible. If this doesn't define 'renegade program', I don't know what does. Where's Kyle Whelliston calling for firings? Where's the NCAA? This screams 'death penalty' as much as SMU did in the 80's, if not more.

USC will be top ten, on National TV 12 times and play in a BCS bowl game. There will not be any NCAA sanctions nor will the Pac 10 do anything. The beat will go on and nothing will ever happen to USC.
There is to much money at stake to penalize the Trojans. -
Without commenting on the veracity of the (lengthy) allegations, one must pause considering the site that lists them obviously has a UCLA bias.
