Hunter Mickelson, Aaron Ross, Ky Madden, all three are teammates on the Arkansas Wings 15U AAU team.
They are also reported to be about to offer yet another 9th grader, Hooper Vint.
Now it is obvious, the new strategy of almost all the big coaches is to lock in if they can on the talent from 3 and 4 years down the road....it not only makes you look good, you get a lot of decent press for doing something that's actually meaningless since the kid can't sign a LOI for 3 more years, and you really don't lock up any scholar4ships, because you can always revoke them later as we have seen, and it gives job security as in the Bruce Weber case, unless all the kids flip flop like Eric Gordon did and like Jereme Richmond appears to be doing.
