  • Jordan Prosser Narrows His List to six

according to brand new PREMIUM interview with HawkeyeReport.com, the Iowa Rivals site.

Here is an excerpt..........and unfortunately Prosser has a ton of top offers, and he doesn't list Bradley amongst them.

"The spring AAU season is well underway and for a prospect like Jordan Prosser on a high profile team, that means many
weekends on the road participating in highly competitive events. It also means that college coaches will be front and center
taking a closer look. Thus far the results have been pretty positive for Prosser on both fronts as he starts to narrow his list of schools.

The 6-foot-8 power forward prospect, who is ranked in the Top 100 in the Class of 2009, says he has picked up a few new offers
from schools he is currently not interested in and has a list of six schools currently on his radar.

............... Iowa, Indiana, Purdue, Wisconsin, Kentucky, and Texas A&M."

Prosser says that he spoke recently with an Iowa assistant coach and plans to be in Iowa City in June.
While it appears on the surface that the Badgers do not have a scholarship available for 2009, Prosser says that the
coaches are telling him a different story
    ."

(sounds like Wisconsin is going to pull a rick Majerus, and jettison one of their rostered,
scholarship players if they feel they have a shot at Prosser.)

With the offers he is getting, Bradley is in a bad spot. There is just not much that can be done about it.

Important to note that he has not NARROWED it to 6 but list those 6 schools as his TOP 6...

agreed, BU still needs to stay in touch, as you never know what'll happen.

It is better to know now instead of at the last minute as we can move on to recruit players that want to come to BU; by the looks of his list it appears he wants to get out of the state .

A new interview while Jordan Prosser was in Bloomington, IN at an AAU event, says Bradley is still prominently in the mix.

I guess it goes to show that just can't believe every report.......

Here's what Jordan Prosser says now........
"Indiana is one of a handful of schools showing interest in the 6-8, 205-pounder.
He said he??™s also been hearing from Purdue, Wisconsin, Iowa, Texas A&M, Baylor and Bradley."

This premium article also notes that Indiana just got a verbal from two players who are extremely similar to Prosser,
Bobby Copobianco, a 6-8, 230 lb PF/C who even resembles Prosser...
and Derek Elston, a 6-8 210 lb PF
and is close to getting a verbal from yet another extremely similar player, Steven VanTreese, a 6-8.5, 220 lb PF
If Prosser still is considering Indiana, the PF spot might be a little crowded!

Here's an article on yet another 6-8, 225 lb PF for the Class of 2009 being recruited by Indiana
How many of these guys does Tom Crean need, and does Jordan Prosser really think he's going to get any playing time at IU?
Maybe he doesn't care if he just sits the bench there, as he'll have his friend Matt Roth to talk to.

              ........Patrick Bade

                2 things

                1. Patrick Bade has narrowed his list to Butler, Iowa, and Purdue, but many think that means Butler or Purdue. (I don't know what Scott Martin means to this, because it appears Butler has a 50/50 type of chance of getting the Purdue transfer. I suppose it's possible that if Scott Martin commits, Butler would be out on Bade. I don't know.)

                2. Half of Prosser's "Top 6" haven't even offered. It looks like Purdue has no intention of doing so, for example. I have been hearing that people are starting to think Prosser is a mid major 4 because he simply won't be able to defend the 3 at a decent high major. Bradley should have a shot with him, although, I tend to think he's going to go to Iowa.

This story sounds like Indiana is about to pick up yet another top shooting guard/wing player, Demetrius Walker..

I feel that Prosser will likely end up here or Iowa. I've heard from a very reliable source that he will be joining Martin Brothers Select (an Iowa-based AAU team) during the month of July. It is a team that features one of his best friends and conference rivals, Tom Norton from Bloomington Central Catholic.

Every time I talk to Prosser's dad Bradley doesn't get discussed much....

I wouldn't look for him to go to BU
