His obit is in the PJS today. Died at age 46. Brother of former BU player Trevor Trimpe. Those of you who've been around awhile know how good Tracey was in the state tournament with the Havana Ducks, a great player in the clutch. My condolences to Trevor and the rest of his family.

Condolences to the Trimpe family.
Anybody know what happened?

I stole this form another source.
Tracey was Trevor's older brother. Tracey graduated in 1979, and played at Eureka in college.
Tracey succumbed to esophageal cancer after about 1 year of fighting it. He leaves two boys (aged 21 and 17) his wife Lori (who was a Havana cheerleader on the sidelines while Tracey lit up Assembly Hall) and a lot of family and friends who will miss him. He was special. Nice to know he's still remembered 30 years later.
