I noticed that too about the car.

Does anybody have a link or drawing of the proposed layout? I remember seeing it in the past, but didn't know if things had changed with these new developements. The old one had some empty space that I'm sure is getting claimed.

Actually it was planned that way...they will be having a contest for engineering students to figure a way to get the car out now that its "stuck" in the circle....

Actually, I think it ranks No. 2. The largest one is just past the left field fence at Busch Stadium...

Wow good call. I've been hearing nothing but talk from the city and the Cards about that one for 4 years. The way they talk I was planning on sitting on a patio at the new aquarium having a beer before the game by now.

BTW the donation was actually 48 million. 30 million as lump sum, then 18 million that will be used as a ploy to get other to donate(matching gifts) ironically enough, 104 plus 18 million from new donations + the 18 million CAT will match becomes 136 very close to the 150 BU is shooting for.

I can't emphasize enough how great this news is for BU. I am ecstatic about this and can't wait to see this come to life.

amckillup is right...........there is a correction in todays PJS stating that CAT gave 30 million and up to an additional 18 million in matching contributions that will = 48 million! I thought that was worth posting again!

I cannot find anywhere the timetable for this project.

Does anyone know when this will be completed in it's entirety?

I thought I recalled reading that this was the second phase of the 15 year campus renaissance plan.

I didn't know the living requirements for squirrels have been taken into consideration when Earth takes over Mars.

                            104 + 18 + 18 = 136??

Apparently an ISU math major has infiltrated our message board. ;^)

Looking at the buildings that are being built and what we're "shooting for" as far as money, things don't link up. Looking at these projects, I'd say we're roughly looking at a total of $215 to $225 million (this figure was bounced off a few business profs who seem to center their estimates around 220). Does Bradley have funding for the rest of it? Or are we just banking on additional fundraising over the next few years?

I think you make a great point Jeff, and my guess is that BU is planning over the course of this project (of which I believe is a 10-15 year time frame) they plan on raising the additional money. At this point I would not be overly concerned. With nearly $150 already committed, I believe it will make fundraising even easier.
