Happy Birthday Dallas. Hope you had a great day.
      Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Well, I've had two victory cigars so far!

Let me take a moment and wax sentimentally ... my best friend friend (UIUc guy) just left the crib after a day together, and numerous beverages, at the Byron Nelson. He and I grew up on farms (1 mile apart) near Rockford and the meanderings of life took us each to Dallas through different courses and we are still hanging together fifty years later ... i.e., firiendship and fraternity, next to family, are what bring meaning to life. Bradelyfans.com has allowed many of us to connect in ways that were not possible ten years ago. MR, Beanie, O&B, DRU, BM, DC, T, ER3, DC, Scouter , BradleyBrave, et al. .... I know more about how you guys think .. whether I agree or not ... than I know with my wife!

Thank you to DC and Tornado for helping create a community. I know that that there are many posters who are current students at BU ... cherish the moment and each other ... you will value each more and more as your grow older.

            God bless,
            Dallas Brave

Oh ... I am too much of a ham to not add a quote from one of my favorites ... Anais Nin:

Life is a process of becoming, a combination of states we have to go through. Where people fail is that they wish to elect a state and remain in it. This is a kind of death.

                Happy Birthday DB,
Life can be good. For me it was growing
up on a farm about six miles south of Milledgeville.

Happy Birthday, what's left of it.
It was nice meeting up with you in South Padre and enjoying that beautiful south Texas weather in the end of November.
Hope you get up to Peoria, next season.
