    jokes are funny.

Cards-Cubs is a pretty stupid rivalry from my perspective (mostly WT drunks yelling the same phrase over and over at each other).

Cubs-Cards isn't really a rivalry. The Cardinals have been sooo much more successful than the Cubs it really doesn't match up as a rivalry. If you look at all the great rivalries, they occurred between two GOOD teams having to battle each other to move on. Like the Celtics vs. Lakers back in the day, etc.

I don't understand why people like college sports more than pro sports (unless it's YOUR team). W/e.
Wouldnt bank on that statement... Rogers looks like a good qb to me..

Saying that you think a lot of people take pro sports too seriously tells me that you take college sports more seriously. Is that the case?

              Pro sports are terrible, IMO.

If having season tickets to Bradley games for 40 years means I take the college game more seriousy, then I guess I do. Having said that, I view their games, win or lose, as entertainment. Sure, there is one team I want to see them beat more than others, but it's not the hate, that I see at the Bear-Packer, Cub-Cards and probably the most ridiculous, Red Sox-Yankee, games.

There are a lot of dumb people in the world. A lot of them take an interest in sports. Are you telling me that some of our fans don't "hate" ISU? I just think you're speaking in generalities since every group has its demons.

I'm as interested in sports as anybody, but that doesn't mean I take it too seriously. I know fans who give up their usual tee times on a beautiful day, sit inside to watch a Bear game. That's their perrogative. Also, I enjoy watching ISU get beat, as much as their fans enjoy watching BU lose, but I don't see why I should "hate" them.
