  • Marcus Pollard signs with Patriots

Not exactly a bad place to try to win a title late in his career.

Awesome! I've never really had any disdain for the Patriots like some have, but I really want Marcus to get a Super Bowl ring. I hope it happens for him in New England.

I never want to see the Patriots win another superbowl. But Pollard will be playing with some of the best players in the league on that team.

I have no problem in admitting that the Pats have a great team. But, I still dont like them. Now Marcus has made it difficult to truly hate them though!

              ANYONE BUT THE PATS...

              WHY MARCUS?????

              WHY?????

Ah well, at least it's not like he can give Belichick anything he doesn't know (or have on tape) about the Colts offense...

Simply cheer for Marcus to have 8 catches and a td every other game... BUt don't cheer for Tommy Boy and the fashion icon that is Bill Belicheck

Since Marcus has been in the NFL, it's always been Packers first and whoever Marcus is playing with. It would be great to see a Packer-Patriot Super Bowl. Congrats Marcus on being that well thought of by a team the caliber of the Patriots.

That would be the worse thing ever. The Pukers and Belicheaters are two of my most hated teams. The Pukers always come first though.

I knew that would get a response from fans who, IMO, take pro sports too seriously. I watch, enjoy, hope my favorite teams win and then go on. Can't worry about someone making millions winning or losing.

Yeah it definitely sux to watch the best players playing each other. You just have to wait for Favre to end his first retirement for your team to be good again.

I don't understand why people like college sports more than pro sports (unless it's YOUR team). W/e.

I don't understand what you're saying. Are you saying people should take college and high school sports more seriously than pro sports? Because the way I see it is the games are secondary to education, so I can't take them more seriously with that perspective.

If you read my post right, you would see I didn't say it sux wathcing the best play each other. I said I enjoy the game, but can't worry if a millionaire wins or loses. I just can't see the hatred some fans?, have for other teams. Bear-Packer fans, Cub-Cards fans, just to name a couple in this area. Go Marcus, hope you make it to the Super Bowl.
