Not so much in the college ranks, but...

the Milwaukee Bucks are expected to interview and possibly (some say probably) hire Scott Skiles as their next head coach.
If that happens, apparently Skiles will bring in Kelvin Sampson as an assistant!

"Ex-Bulls coach Scott Skiles has been considered a contender for the Knicks
job with Jackson, but multiple league sources believe that Skiles will
eventually be hired as the Milwaukee Bucks’ new coach.

    “It’s inevitable,” one GM said.

New Bucks GM John Hammond, who fired Larry Krystkowiak on Thursday, has
also expressed an interest with New Orleans assistant Darrell Walker and Mike
Fratello, a league source said. If Skiles goes to the Bucks, deposed Indiana
University coach Kelvin Sampson is expected to be offered a job on his coaching staff."

One other rumor, not sure how valid....some on a couple Big Ten boards are reporting that the best
returning player on Dayton, freshman Chris Wright may be leaving and wanting to transfer,
perhaps to a Big Ten program, and one place he would get tons immediate playing time would be
Indiana or possibly Ohio State. This would be huge if it happens, but Wright, not well known because
of playing in relative obscurity at Dayton, has reportedly been "hearing" that there are bigger programs
who would love to have him. Obviously it is against the rules to recruit another
team's player, but as we have learned with the Marcus Arnold and Justin Dentmon cases,
it is clearly something that DOES happen. It'll be interesting to see how this pans out.

Well, I'm glad that Skiles will be getting another job as he was wrongly fired from the Bulls, in my opinion. But Sampson as his assistant?! I don't think he deserves another job, but at least in the NBA recruiting is not a job responsibility.
