Even more unfortunate news regarding Jeremy Robinson, although not too bad.....

"Eisenhower and County coach Jeremy Moore got official word on Friday afternoon
that Lewis Jackson and Jeremy Robinson are ineligible to play in the contest."

The Decatur area has its Boys Basketball All Star game tonight sponsored by the Decatur Herald, and guess what.......

Jeremy Robinson is ineligible....so is Decatur Eisenhower teammate Lewis Jackson
The reason they are ineligible is because of an IHSA rule that if a kid has signed a letter of intent to a Division I college, then he is eligible to play in ONLY TWO post-season All Star games, and apparently both of them have already played two.
If they violate this rule, the newspaper article says
"If the pair had played, they would have forfeited their freshman years of eligibility in college"
    Go figure.........

I'm a little confused here...it almost sounds like she is saying he should never leave home...

Does Milikin have a basketball team...?

I agree that the family is trying to better their entire situation, but just because you had fallen on bad times doesn't mean you should turn to a life of crime...
