The topic of this thread is compensation, and where Jim Les' compensation relates to other schools. Please stay on that topic.
I know there is an irresistable desire by some to turn it into an attack on Jim Les, because Bradley has not won the MVC title in his 6 years.

There is not one person alive who doesn't know that, because we see references to it in almost every thread it seems. So please try to keep this thread on the topic stated and not turn it into a vehicle to vent against the coach's record, or some perceived rebounding issue.

I'm allowed to criticize Davis for going to Providence though, right?

It also looks like Providence will have around 6 Srs. next year with some talent. He made the right move and if he wins next year there can you imagine the offers. I say he made a pretty good gamble and my bet is if he make the Tourney again he's gone from there.

Given Keno's first year results, maybe it was "Providence" all along that was behind this last season!

I think what we have with Coach Les though is his tie to Bradley. Let's assume a BCS school at some point comes calling, I think despite a potentially higher offer, he'd still think twice before taking it due to the fact he's an alum and played at Bradley. Plus, wouldn't he have quite a bit of money saved up from his NBA days? Not sure how much he got paid then.

I'm not saying we shouldn't pay him much because of that. If he has success, the school should reward him with a higher salary, longer contract, etc. But I think money is not the only reason for him to be coaching at Bradley.

              Enough is never enough.

BTW anyone 2nd guessing Davis, ask Molinari how sticking around BU and not taking some of his BCS offers treated him? You strike when the iron is hot and his iron will never be hotter.
