Former BU womens coach to retire

Donna Freitag, a former BU women's head coach and recently an assistant at Wisconsin, has announced she will retire from coaching at the end of May.

I worked for her and BU at her summer camps and found her easy to work for and a class lady. Hope she is doing well.

I also worked with the women's basketball program while Donna was there... She was a class person.. and her mom is a hoot as well!

I was wondering yesterday when i posted about Tasha McDowell as a finalist for the SIUE job why Ty Margenthaler was not with his experience and his connections to SIUE, now it makes sense he probably becomes the number one assistant at Wisconsin.
