Marcus Relphorde (who Bradley looked at a little as a recruit while in high school) is one of the most well-traveled players in memory. He played at Homewood-Flossmoor High School, and then transferred to Hales Franciscan High School in Chicago, but was ruled ineligible. He then enrolled briefly at Millersburg Military Institute in Millersburg, Kentucky, then dropped out and attended Boys to Men Academy in Chicago for a year, then transferred and played 1 year at American Christian prep school in Philadelphia. That's at least 5 different high schools/prep schools! Then he was signed by Brad Soderberg to St. Louis University. But he spent just 1 season on the roster, played very little, and was dismissed by new coach Rick Majerus.

Now, he has enrolled at juco powerhouse Indian Hills CC in Ottumwa, Iowa. He will team up there with 2 other BU recruits Dwight Buycks and Leon Powell.--

Marcus Relphorde has resurfaced........since being booted from Saint Louis...

he has already been at six different schools in the past 3 years, and now he commits to his 7th school since his high school junior year, and when this season ends, he'll then be heading to his 8th!

Relphorde is now at the same junior college as Dwight Buycks, Dwight Hardy, Leon Powell, and the two top players who just left WIU, Delvon Johnson & James Washington, so Indian Hills, which finished 6th at the NJCAA Nationals, will have a good chance of having a pretty strong team this coming season with at least six D-I caliber prospects!

        BTW--
I found a really GREAT quote about Rick Majerus....

UMass point guard Chris Lowe said this when they hired Derek Kellogg as their new head coach at UMass....

"I was concerned they were going to bring in a coach that wanted us to pass
the ball 10 times before we shoot. Nothing against Rick Majerus. He??™s one of
the best coaches ever, but they want to score in the 50s. With the personnel
we have we want to get up and down and make the game fun.???

          http://bradleyfans.com/vb/showthread.php?t=3220.....
Relphorde puts himself into contention for the World Record most schools attended in a 5 year span....
HF, Hales, Millersburg, then HF again, then Boys to Men, the American Christian, then Saint Louis, then Indian Hills, now commits to Colorado.
If he makes if to Colorado, it'll actually be the 9th school he's been at (not just committed to) since his sophomore year in HS.

Maybe we should add him to the records that may never be broken thread...but I am not sure that this one still could get broken!
Relphorde averaged 1 ppg in his freshman year at Saint Louis and 10 ppg at Indian Hills.
Not bad that a guy who can never stay at any school more than 6 months, and who's never
averaged more than about 10 ppg to get a BCS ride!

The scout.com article says Marcus was "also getting heavy interest from ..Wichita State and Illinois State."

            A good story of kid's comeback -
Femi John started at Saint Louis in 2008 playing for Rick Majerus, and after an injury plagued career - he finally decided in 2012 to give up playing and have surgery...
His NCAA clock ran out at the end of 2013 so his eligibility had expired...

BUT - he has now gained a 6th year waiver and transferred to Missouri-St. Louis for his senior year
