Here's an article detailing how the folks at the new, renovated Carver Hawkeye (University of Iowa) Arena
expect they can boost attendance and make a lot more money. They plan to start selling booze!

But...they have a backup plan for making more money.....of course once the newly renovated arena opens, ticket prices will go up considerably.

Now Louisville is moving into a NICE, BIG, NEW downtown arena.
It will be miles from their campus, but it will be state of the art.....view numerous pics of what it'll look like..

I lived in Louisville from 1976-1980 and had season tix for the Louisville Cardinals for their National Championship season of 1979-1980, but like almost all of the older arenas, where we sat in the upper "bowl" was more like viewing from another county!
Regardless, that team with Darrell Griffith was fun to watch and finally got the hex off the fine folks from Louisville who had been told for decades by the Adolph Rupps and UK fans that they'd never be winners.
