WIU Press Conference for 11AM Friday - Jim Molinari to be named coach
One guy just posted on the WIU board that he had heard something and believes the choice will be Molinari
"WGEM received a call about an hour ago from Jason Kaufman, WIU SID cancelling the scheduled interview Ben Marth had with TVA at 3:00. According to Jason TVA was "in contract negotiations with a candidate that was not on campus today. So that must mean things didn't work out with Slick. What a shame! NOT! So the money now appears to be on MO if he will take being the second choice. Let's all hope so. The press conference is still on for 11:00 tomorrow morning."
Harper is supposedly the candidate that was on campus today, and the guy's post suggests negotiations with the candidate who was on campus "didn't work out".
Molinari was interviewed on campus last Tuesday and left Wednesday...as shown in this story
