  • Could it be Mo??

I have heard from a very good source, Mo may be a head coach again. Hope so I'm pulling for ya Mo. If WIU is smart he is a no brainer for that program. We should know before the weeks over. Sure would be fun to get them back on our schedule if Mo gets the job.

Not until they get that RPI outta the toilet.
A real fan celebrates the successes, but also acknowledges the failures of his team.

We don't need to schedule a game in Macomb - ever.

I agree, but it sure would be fun to see JL's offence against Mo's defence!

It will be interesting to see who he brings in as his assistants.
Will he hire Al Biancalana? Al was a pretty good recruiter and coach.
Duane Broussard isn't coaching anywhere that I can find, either

Why, cause you think they are beneath us? Well they are, but I think a series with WIU might be fun. Certainly would be worth the $8 G.A. ticket in Macomb to see Jim Les and Crew play J Mo. Hey, Indiana played in Macomb just three years ago.

I think though, I would like to see Mo build the WIU program to some semblance of respectablity before talk of putting them on the schedule starts.

They did get their RPI over 250 for about a month.. Ha Ha.....

I really get tired of people slamming Mo....he is a great guy a fine coach and a winner...some people need to get over things...some find that easy...some can't let go....

Good luck Jim....I'll be rooting for you!

                    Wish WIU Well - but!

I certainly wish WIU the best of luck in their bbal ventures but I don't think Bradley needs anymore 'trap' games on our schedule. Beating or losing a game with WIU does nothing for our program's growth or direction and I certainly believe either coach under WIU consideration could pull off a victory over BU (at least a 20% chance) and that loss/close game would hurt this program considerably. We already shoot the dice with UIC and Loyola and the same scenerio holds true for Illinois and DePaul when it comes to scheduling BU except losing to us (if we are in the top 80 rpi) can be at least explained away to some out of state recruits but gets tougher with kids in Illinois!

                    just my opinion!

Yeh...watching paint dry....I can think of some fine entertainment that was provided over the years by Mo coached teams.....so its not THE TRUTH..but we have had this argument before....so I won't go on....

We could maybe play Western in a tournament type deal. We played lowly MD eastern Shore and Florida Gulf Coast, but that was a package deal we had to play them to get to Iowa and Vandy. So in that case it was worth it to play two nobodies to get two neutral court BCS games.

No, I don't think Bradley is above them in the sense someone might think I meant - especially on the road.

I would just hate to see the Schadenfreudes come outta the woodwork if Bradley were to struggle on the road (as they often do at times) and lose at WIU to Mo.

The PJ Star Editorial staff and their ilk that post on message boards will have a field day about how Coach Mo out-coached Les which would be their proof that Mo shoulda never been let go.

I don't want Bradley to have any part of that crap.

We play them in Peoria - ONLY, or not at all, as long as Mo is the head coach. PERIOD.

                            Understand, tho....

I am excited for Mo and WIU and will enjoy following them. I wish Mo all the best.
