Well, good run by Memphis, but they should have had this game won. Congratulations to Kansas and Bill Self for winning the championship.

Yes, Self is a great coach, and I'm sure his nightmares involving Bucknell and Bradley will be long gone after tonight!

Congrats to KU..and Self. I'm happy hets the monkey off the back.

Do you think this game changes the way coaches defend with a 3pt lead and 10 tics left? Why take the chance...just foul and put em on the line

I always believe in fouling instead of letting someone shoot for the tie at the end; poor freethrow shooting at the end cost Memphis the championship.

They tried to foul and did with 5-6 seconds left, but the refs didn't call it. Calipari was arguing that point with the ref at the end of regulation.

A comeback/choke job for the ages. Considering that most of their roster lost to BU in '06, this makes BU's win over that team look all the more impressive.

                      Apparently it must have helped!

Seriously, though... some of the players' parents probably weren't even born then.

Great game. Glad it wasn't decided early on. I didn't think Kansas could come back late in the 2nd half.

Several times especially in the post game stories about KU, the mentioned the loss ot BU in 2006 and a couple times they even showed some flashback highlights of Cellus nailing a "3" and Will Franklin, TB, etc...whupping KU.

Also, I enjoy watching Ed Hightower, I find myself watching him wherever he is on the screen and ignoring the rest of the game!

Lastly, good thing Dorsey doesn't have any more college eligibility, as it would be hard getting through college on Medicare...the guy looks 15 years older than anyone else on the court.

The fact that their guys are a couple of years older makes a big difference in their play

Did anyone notice the guy, Pierre Niles, that came in as backup for Joey Dorsey?

they listed him at 310 lbs, but I have to think maybe he's even bigger.
