I fully expected to see some posts and discussion about the Final Four games from last night.
But I guess I am not shocked there's absolutely no discussion, as I was kinda bored, and neither game really had much interst.
It'll be interesting to see the spin, since neither game was very competetive at all.

I wasn't even watching most of the games. Switching back and forth between a movie and the final four. I wonder what ratings were.

I pray the national championship game is more competitive.

If Memphis plays to their capabilites, expect another rout Monday.

Kansas opened as a 1-point favorite. May have to bet the house on the Tigers.

How awesome is Illinois native Derrick Rose? He humiliated Collison and has dominated this tournament. He may be the first pick in the draft and will certainly be the second otherwise. With a Memphis win Derrick Rose is this years Carmelo Anthony. Who could have predicted he would be this good? (::
        Can we start winning soon?

As much as some of the yahoos who get the luxury of having them heard by millions on TV want to play it up, the four number one seeds is going to blow up in their faces. The way some of these teams play, most notably Memphis, isn't really college ball anyway. When you have NBA level talent, you can employ an NBA-style offense, which at least in my opinion, is pretty boring. We'll never know, but I'm sure the TV ratings and overall interest level would have been much higher had Davidson made it.
          Go Braves!

Yep, another boring night of the big dud games. So boring in fact that I started doing homework lol. I expect the championship game to be a good one. Kansas beat a very hot Davidson team and smoked an even scorching NC team. Meanwhile, Memphis has only lost 1 game this season and no team has won a championship that lost 1 game or less. I expect it to be a back and forth battle the whole game.

Not sure I agree with that, Bubraves2006. I don't mind four number one seeds getting there. It's just that the games were blow-outs. Had North Carolina played a better game all 40 min, it would have been more fun. Same with UCLA and Memphis. I'd say if the final four and national champsionships are continually boring, I bet the NCAA might eventually employ the best two out of three format the CBI uses.

I hope this disaster of a Final Four will put to rest the endless BCS propaganda we've had to endure recently. If I heard one more self-serving, arrogant rant from the 4 participants (the best 4 coaches ever assembled, the best talent, the best match-ups), I was going to vomit.

All that hype . . . and for what? Hey . . . great news! A Final Four with NO surprises, NO cinderellas, NO David for Goliath! And then the games begin, and we watch a couple BCS "heavyweights" come out and play as though this were a walk-through rather than a basketball game. What an absolute embarrassment.

You want to see college basketball? Give me Drake, WKU, Davidson any day of the week. This tournament, with its 6 "midmajor" bids (all paired against one another) has been the most boring display of over-hyped nonsense I've ever seen. And if future selection committees don't learn from it, this event will lose its magic.

Derek Rose is real good, but I'm pretty sure Michael Beasley's the #1 pick...if the Lottery works out correctly...

The Heat already have D-Wade...one of the best guards in basketball (i hate him and it pains me to say that).

They lack right now big men. They have Marrion from the Shaq trade...but he's not as well rounded. Beasley would be a great fit for the Heat and they are going to be a powerhouse in the East next year.

Even if the lottery doesn't work out, most NBA teams will be looking for more well rounded players and Beasley is definitely that.

no denying that Rose will be one of the top 5 picks though.
Gloria: Who's side are you on?
Jay: She's my daughter, you're my wife. Let's remember what's important, there's a football game on today

Miami is lacking everything right now. Personally, I think Rose is more of an impact player and would take him No. 1.

I think if Kansas had lost, this board woulda been full of posts from all the 2-fer fans that root for UIUC and Bradley. But since Kansas put it to UNC... it stayed quiet. Nothing for the schadenfreudes to talk about... until maybe Monday night.

I think Derrick Rose will step in and be on of the top 5 point guards in the league, like Deron Williams did with the Jazz. Either player would be a good pick, I just think Rose has more upside than Beasley.

If someone like Chris Quinn can come in and put up all star #'s for Miami, just imagine what a natural skills player like Beasley could do with DWade and Marion.
