    What did we get out of this tounament

    The two most important things about this tourney as far as I was concerned were a chance to get some experience for the returning players and a reward for the seniors. I wish we could have won the championship and I would have enjoyed it but I am not as upset as I would be normally. This is because I think we gained major benefits from the CBI. I realize the seniors would have loved to win it, but they did get the memory of some final home game wins in front of great crowds. Also we were able to get some great play from Collins that was a revelation. Andrew Warren looked great on his return from injury. Everyone had some extra practice for next year and we were able to watch Bradley basketball in April. I am glad we went to the CBI and not overly upset we didn't finish with the title.

    I bet you thought I was gonna be negative with that title.

      I'm glad as well. More home games is always a plus in my book.

        Agree....Bradley set an all time total attendance record this season, we played as many games as we ever have and we finished in the final game of a post-season tourney. AND we were 4-2 against BCS teams
        AND...despite the departure of three of our finest players and starters, we still have two of the top ten returning scorers and 3 of the top 16.

          Any time you can play more games it is a good thing ; C.Buescher made a lot of good comments last night on the post game show and the ones about next years team I felt hit it right on the head as he talked about how much potential he sees in Will Egolf and it is now up to him to step up to the next level and produce, he also brought up the improvement in D.Collins and the good players we have coming in so the future looks good; the thing I agree with the most is this coaching staff has put our players in a position to win which is really all you can ask of them.

            The CBI experience was great for the seniors, great for the underclassmen, and great for the fans.
