  • Lennox Forrester Lands Another Recruit

6-5 Mark Yelovich verbally committed to SIU-E.
He is ranked about where Chris Parrish and Isiah Nunn are ranked in the state.
Brandon Dunson and Aaron Garriott are already committed for 2008 at SIU-E.

Maybe I got the name wrong, but wasn't there a Yelovich in the Valley, maybe from Mt Zion? Indiana St maybe? Is this guy any relation?

I thought that name was familiar, too.

Mick Yelovich (50) Center - 2006-07: Appeared in 24 games, with one start ... had four points and blocked two shots at Creighton (Jan. 27) ... posted a season-high

      Yes, they are brothers.

Forrester has done a great job landing recruits so far. He's getting a lot of solid mid major guys.

Brandon Dunson was a steal. He was courted by some high majors and had offers from 16 D1 schools including two Valley programs (InSU and Evansville) and Western Kentucky (sweet 16).

Aaron Garriott was being recruited pretty heavily by the BU staff. He also had offers from four Division I schools including Utah State.

Mark Yelovich was a highly sought after low to mid major player that had increasing interest from some Horizon and Summit League schools.

Kevin Stineman is rated as a two-star prospect on Rivals.com

They should be one of the better transitioning teams in the last few years.
